beer chart

I recently ran across quite possibly the most definitive chart on beer styles and glassware I’d ever seen before. Called “The Magnificent Multitude of Beer,” this chart lists just about every style and sub-style of beer out there and lines each up with its proper glassware. If a better beer chart exists, I’ve yet to find it.

This chart can be somewhat difficult to read at first, but basically just follow the black lines to navigate sub-styles and notice the lines get thinner the more levels you go into a style, and follow the thin orange lines to the right glass for the beer. As you will see, the chart actually shows you anywhere from 1-4 glasses for each beer, so you always have a range of glassware choices.

The chart even goes so far as to show what should be drank from the can, bottle, and even right from a 40 oz. Give the chart a look and see what you think. Click the image above for a much larger version.
