Darker crystal malts give a beautiful deep red colour and slightly sweeter, more caramelly and dark fruit-based balance. We also used rye to add richness to the malt character and impart a nice spicy zest, perfectly complemented by pine, tropical, fruity and floral flavours and aromas of mango and pink grapefruit courtesy of Idaho 7 hops.
